Apple has announced the availability of Apple Music for Nest Device in India and 4 other countries including Australia, Canada, S. Korea, and Mexico. Now you need to link your Apple Music account in the Google Home app to stream music via the Apple Music app on your Nest smart speaker.
According to Google, users who own Nest devices like Google Nest Audio, Nest mini, Nest Hub, and Nest Hub Max can use Apple Music to stream music. The app will also support voice controls to search for songs, albums or playlists, and control playback using Google Assistant.
Link Apple Music to Google Home app, open Google Home app on your smartphone. Then tap Settings and tap Music. Under “More music services,” tap the Link icon next to Apple Music and then tap Link account. It will ask you to sign in with Apple ID that you use with Apple Music. Then follow onscreen steps to complete setup.
Apple Music for Nest devices and other Assistant-enabled smart speakers has already been available in the United States, United Kingdom, France, Germany, and Japan since last year.
