Adobe has unveiled a new AI-powered web-based audio editor ‘Project Shasta.’ This online tool claims to offer nice features such as recording, audio enhancement, editing, transcribing, and sharing audio.

This online audio editing tool requires Google Chrome. It is for creating and editing professional audio recordings whit needing professional equipment. The tool also includes AI-based filters to improve the audio quality. It also automatically remove filler words like “um.”

It also lets you edit audio using a transcript. For this feature, the tool uses Adobe Premiere Pro’s speech-to-text technology.

A most interesting feature of Project Shasta is remote recording. So, you can invite a guest speaker to record audio together. The software automatically handles syncing up the clips even if one person has a shoddy internet connection. There are also project templates to make your workflow faster.
