Motorola has introduced its new smartphone Moto G Power (2022) in the US. The company released the original Moto G Power back in January this year and the successor for 2022 has been released a bit early. Motorola confirmed that the phone won’t be shipped until early 2022 in the US. So, this phone is actually the 2022 version.
Moto G Power (2022) comes with a 6.5-inch HD+ MaxVision display with 1600 x 720 Pixels resolution. The display also has a 90HZ refresh rate. It packs Octa-Core MediaTek Helio G37 12nm processor with IMG PowerVR GE8320 GPU. The phone has 4GB RAM and 64GB storage with an option to expand storage up to 512GB.
It has a triple camera that includes 50 megapixels primary camera, 2 megapixels depth camera, and 2 megapixels macro camera. The phone also features an 8 megapixels selfie camera.
The fingerprint sensor is on the back panel. Connectivity options include Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 5, GPS, and USB Type-C. It packs a 5000mAh battery with 10W charging.
Moto G Power (2022) measures 167.24 x 76.54 x 9.36mm and weighs 203g. It is also IP52 rated for water resistance.
The phone is priced at $199.99 and will be available through Republic Wireless and Metro by T-Mobile in the coming months. I will also be available unlocked at Best Buy, Amazon.com, and Motorola.com in early 2022.
