Final Fantasy VII – The First Soldier officially released for Android and iOS

Final Fantasy VII - The First Soldier

Square Enix announced Final Fantasy VII – The First Soldier back in February this year and started rolling out the first closed beta in June. Now the game is finally available for Android and iOS. Final Fantasy VII – The First Soldier is a battle royale game similar to PUBG Mobile.

Soon after the official release, game servers started crashing and gamers have reported several issues. Square Enix is actively working to address the issues.

The game supports Android devices running Android 7.1 for higher and also requires at least 3GB RAM. You should have an iOS device running iOS 13.0 or above to enjoy the game on your iPhone and iPad. The game is free to download from Google Play Store and App Store. but contains in-app purchases.

Final Fantasy VII – The First Soldier is a typical battle royale game with a flare of a Final Fantasy RPG. Much like a MOBA, you will level up your character as you play. After calling equipment you find, you can upgrade it with the currency you earn from killing enemies on the map.

It is embarrassing how the game is unplayable on the launch day due to server issues. Gamers already have several battle royale games. All the companies coming with new battle royale games should understand that these issues affect the game’s reputation.
