Brave has updated its desktop browser and added a built-in crypto wallet. So, you don’t need an extension to add a cryptocurrency wallet on your web browser. This also offers improved security and performance than the browser extension.

Brave’s previously offered a crypto wallet that was a fork of MetaMask. This new crypto wallet has been built from scratch and has been added natively into the Brave Browser.

If you are using Brave 1.32, you can access the crypto wallet through the settings page. You can keep, manage and trade your crypto portfolio direct from the browser. It also shows current prices, price histories, and live market data. Brave wallet also supports all EVM compatible chains and L2s.

The company has confirmed that the crypto wallet will also be added to mobile browsers soon.

Brave is known for privacy and is one of the best browsers. The browser blocks ads & trackers that follow you around. The company keeps adding notable features to attract new users.
