Rockstar Games has officially announced the Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition. It includes Grand Theft Auto III, Vice City, and San Andreas remasters for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC scheduled for later this year. Mobile Ports will also be launched next year.

The company has not shared any information related to pricing and release date. We also don’t have much information on improvements but the company promises across-the-board upgrades including modern gameplay and graphical improvements.

The remasters are being released as a part of GTA 3’s 20th anniversary. So, GTA Online will also get anniversary-themed events, clothing, liveries, and more. The company also has some surprises in store for GTA Online players.

The definitive edition will also replace existing original titles. That means original games will also be removed from the store next week.
