As already confirmed, Motorola launched its budget phone Moto E40 in the Indian market. It is priced at Rs. 9499.

Moto E40 comes with a 6.5-inch Max Vision HD+ (720×1,600 pixels) IPS display with a 90Hz refresh rate. The phone runs on Android 11 with Moto’s MyUX out of the box. The phone packs 1.8GHz Unisoc T700 SoC. It has 4GB RAM and 64GB storage with an option to expand storage up to 1TB via a microSD card.

It includes a triple camera setup with 48 megapixels primary camera, 2 megapixels depth camera, and 2 megapixels macro camera. The camera app includes several camera modes including Portrait mode, Panorama, Face Beauty, HDR Night Vision, Macro Vision, and a Pro Mode. There is also an 8 megapixels selfie camera.

Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, FM radio, and a USB Type-C. It includes an accelerometer, ambient light, and proximity sensors. The fingerprint sensor is soon the back panel.

Moto E40 packs a 5,000mAh battery with 10W charging.

It measures 165.1×75.6×9.1mm and weighs 198 grams. The phone has an IP52-certified water repellent design. It is offered in Carbon Gray and Pink Clay colors.

Moto E40 is priced at Rs. 9,499 and will be available for purchase through Flipkart starting 12am on October 17.
