Moto E40 with 6.5-inch 90Hz display, 5,000 mAh battery announced

Motorola today announced the newest E-series member dubbed as Moto E40.

Moto E40 comes with a 6.5-inch HD+ LCD display with a punch hole and 90Hz refresh rate. The phone packs 1.8GHz Unisoc T700 SoC with 4GB of RAM. It has 64GB of inbuilt storage that is further expandable up to 1 TB via microSD card.

Moto E40 runs Android 11 with Moto’s MyUX on top. This UI offers a near-stock experience.

It has a triple camera setup that includes 48 megapixels primary camera, 2 megapixels depth camera, and 2 megapixels macro camera. It also has an 8 megapixels selfie camera.

The device has an IP52 water repellent design. There’s a grooved design on the rear panel. The phone has a rear-mounted fingerprint reader and a dedicated Google Assistant key. It comes in Carbon Gray and Pink Clay colors.

Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n , Bluetooth 5, GPS, and USB Type-C. Moto E40 packs a 5,000 mAh battery.

Motorola has yet to announce pricing and availability details. It will also be launched in India on October 12. Flipkart has already made a dedicated page to tease the phone.
