Apple launched a new MacBook Pro with brand new Apple-made processors called M1 Pro and the M1 Max ARM-based systems-on-chip (SoCs) at the Apple Unleashed event. This new Apple Macbook Pro 2021 model promises a better, bigger Liquid Retina XDR Display, and a notch at the top of the screen. Pre-order for the MacBook Pros 2021 Models is open from today and they will be available for purchase starting October 26.
The new Apple MacBook Pro will be available in two screen sizes, 14.2-inch and 16.2-inch. Both the laptops use Liquid Retina XDR displays with mini LED technology. The panels can get bright up to 1,000 nits. The 16.2 inches display has 7.7 million pixels, whereas the 14.2 inches display has 5.9 million pixels.
These New Macbook Pro with M1 Pro and M1 Max chips has Upto 3.7x faster CPU and upto 13x faster graphics than the previous model. It has up to 8TB storage with up to 64Gb of unified memory that makes it give 2x times better performance than apple core i9. The new chips M1 Pro and M1 Max for the MacBook Pro will be coupled with a new macOS for better performance and battery life.
The MacBook Pro also gets an adaptive refresh rate function called ProMotion. This will adjust the screen refresh rate up to 120Hz, depending on the content on the screen. The screen of both laptops gets a notch at the top for the 1080p TaceTime Camera with minimal bezels on three sides. There are physical function keys instead of TouchBar in these new models.
MagSafe 3 charging has been reintroduced in this new MacBook Pro 2021 Model. There is an HDMI port, Thunderbolt 4 ports, SD card slot, and headphone jack. It connects 2 ports display HDR simultaneously.
There is a 6-speaker sound system with Dolby Atmos-enabled spatial audio on both laptops. These laptops also have studio-quality mics.
The app compatibility of Rosetta with improvement in certain professional applications has been carried to the 2021 MacBook Pro. The laptops can now use 10,000 apps and plug-ins with the help of these improved Apple chips.
The battery life on MacBook Pro has been improved. Now, there is 21 hours of video playback time in a single charge. Apple introduced fast-charging on laptops for the very first time that gives 50% usage in 30 minutes of charge.
The MacBook Pro 14-inch and the MacBook Pro 16-inch will be available from October 26 in India. The 14.2-inch MacBook Pro prices will start in India at Rs. 1,94,900, whereas the 16.2-inch MacBook Pro will be available for ₹2,39,900. The laptops will be introduced in Silver and Space Gray color options.
