Xiaomi has unveiled Xiaomi Smart Glasses. This is just a smart wearable device concept, so we cannot say when the device could hit the market.
Xiaomi’s smart glasses will be able to capture photos using the built-in camera, display messages, display notifications, make calls, shows navigation, translation text in real-time, and more.
These glasses use MicroLED imaging technology that is known for having a longer lifespan than OLED and higher brightness. It is powered by a quad-core ARM processor and runs Android.
Xiaomi claims that its smart glasses will be able to do several things independently. It will show maps and directions in front of your eyes using the device’s navigation capability. When you get an incoming call, it will show you who’s calling. You can also receive calls using a built-in mic and speakers.
At 51 grams, Xiaomi’s smart glasses are a bit heavier than Facebook’s Ray-Ban Stories. Just like Ray-Ban Stories glasses, Xiaomi smart glasses also feature an indicator light to show when the camera is in use.
