WhatsApp keeps adding new features to improve the user experience and give users more flexibility. Recently, the company also added several privacy-related options. Now the company is testing more options in ‘Last Seen’. Soon the company will let you hide ‘Last Seen’ from specific contacts.

As of now, you can either show ‘Last Seen’ to Everyone or Contacts. There’s no way to show your last Seen to specific contacts. As you can see in the Snapshot below, the app will get a new option ‘My Contacts Except’ where you can select contacts with whom you don’t want to share your Last Seen.

The feature is still under development and is being tested. So, I cannot say when it will be available to beta users or stable users. First, this feature will be rolled out to beta users. Once it is successfully tested in beta, the company will roll out it to app users in stable users.
