Tecno Mobiles has launched its latest affordable smartphone Tecno Spark 8 in the Indian market. This phone runs Android 11 Go Edition. It is priced at Rs. 7,999 and will be available through retail stores starting September 15.
Tecno Spark 8 features a 6.52-inch HD+ (720×1,600 pixels) Dot Notch display with 120Hz of touch sampling rate and 480 nits of peak brightness. It packs an octa-core MediaTek Helio A25 SoC with 2GB of LPDDR4x RAM. The phone also has 64GB of eMMC 5.1 storage that can be expanded up to 256GB.
The phone features a dual camera with 16 megapixels primary camera and a depth camera. The camera app includes features such as AI Beauty, Smile Shot, AI Portrait, HDR, AR Shot, Filters, Time-lapse, Panorama, and Slow Motion. It also has an 8 megapixel selfie camera.
Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, and Micro-USB. The fingerprint sensor is on the back panel. It packs a 5,000mAh battery.
Tecno Spark 8 is priced at Rs. 7,999. It comes in Atlantic Blue, Iris Purple, and Turquoise Cyan colors. Dimensions measure 164.82×76.05×9.2mm.
