Redmi today launched two new budget smartphones Redmi 9A Sport and Redmi 9i Sport in India. These phones start at Rs. 6999 and Rs. 8799 respectively. Both the phones are almost similar but differ in RAM and storage.
Both the phones feature a 6.53-inch HD+ LCD Dot Drop screen display. There’s the same 2GHz Octa-Core MediaTek Helio G25 processor.
The primary difference is in RAM and Storage. Redmi 9A Sport comes with 2GB and 3GB RAM options. The phone offers 32GB storage that is further expandable up to 512GB with microSD. Redmi 9i Sport Redmi 9i Sport comes with 4GB RAM and is offered in 64GB and 128GB storage options. Storage is expandable up to 512GB with microSD.
These phones feature a 13 megapixels rear camera and 5 megapixels selfie camera. There’s also P2i coating in both phones.
Connectivity options include Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 5, GPS + GLONASS, and micro USB. Both the phones pack a 5000mAh battery with 10w charging
The Redmi 9i Sport with 2GB RAM and 32GB storage is priced at Rs. 6999. The variant with 3GB and 32GB storage costs Rs. 7999. Redmi 9A Sport with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage costs Rs. 8799, The model with 4GB RAM and 128GB storage is priced at Rs. 9299.
Both these are available from mi.com and offline stores. Redmi 9i Sport will also be sold from Flipkart and Redmi 9A Sport will also be sold from Amazon.in
