Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi has just announced the launch of Redmi 10 Prime in India. Redmi 10 Prime is the successor to last year’s Redmi 9 Prime. Redmi 10 Prime starts at Rs. 12499.
Redmi 10 Prime comes with a 6.5-inch FHD+ IPS display with a 90Hz adaptive refresh rate. The display also has Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection and boasts up to 400 nits brightness. The phone runs Android 11 with MIUI 12.5.
It packs octa-core MediaTek Helio G88 processor with ARM Mali-G52 2EEMC2 GPU. The phone comes in 4+64GB and 6+128GB models. You can further expand storage up to 512GB with microSD card.
There is a quad-camera setup that includes 50 megapixels primary camera, 8 megapixels ultra-wide camera, 2 megapixels macro camera and 2 megapixels depth camera. It also has an 8 megapixels selfie camera.
Redmi 10 Prime comes with a P2i coating. So, it is Splashproof. The phone measures 161.95×75.57×9.56mm and weighs 192g. It has a polycarbonate body and will is offered in three colors.
Connectivity options include Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5.1, GPS + GLONASS, and USB Type-C. It packs a 6000mAh battery with 18W fast charging. The phone also supports 9W reverse wired charging. So, you can charge other devices using this phone.
The base model with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage is priced at Rs. 12499. The model with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage costs Rs. 14499.
Redmi 10 Prime will be available from Amazon.in, mi.com, Mi Home stores, Mi Studio, and retail stores starting from September 7th.
