Realme just launched a new smartphone Realme 8i in India. Realme 8i is the successor to Realme 7i. Realme 8i starts at Rs. 13999.

Realme 8i features a 6.6-inch Full HD+ LCD display with a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate and 180Hz touch sampling rate. The display also has up to 600 nits brightness. The phone runs Android 11 with realme UI 2.0.

It packs an octa-core MediaTek Helio G96 12nm processor and Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. The phone comes in two models: 4+64GB and 6+128GB. Storage is also expandable up to 256GB with microSD. The 6GB RAM version of the phone also supports 5GB Virtual RAM. This feature enhances multitasking by using the phone’s free storage as RAM.

There is a triple camera with 50 megapixels primary camera, 2 megapixels B&W portrait camera, and 2 megapixels macro camera. It also has 16 megapixels selfie camera.

Connectivity options include Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5, GPS + GLONASS, and USB Type-C.Realme 8i also includes an accelerometer, ambient light, magnetometer, and proximity sensors. There’s a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. It packs a 5000mAh battery with 18W fast charging support.

Realme 8i measures 164.1×75.5×8.5mm and weighs 194g. It comes in Space Black and Space Purple collars.
