Google releases final Android 12 Beta

Android 12 Beta 5

Google has finally released the final and fifth Android 12 beta. This final beta is for the last-minute feedback before the stable Android 12 beta release for all the devices.

You can download Android 12 beta 5 starting today on all compatible Pixel phones and other phones that are eligible for the Android beta program. If you enrolled your device for the beta program, you will receive an OTA update. Alternatively, you can manually install updates to your phone to Android 12 Beta 5.

This is the final beta, so we shouldn’t expect a bunch of new features. The primary focus could be on polishing existing features and fixing all the known bugs. In beta 5, Google Clock is getting a Material You redesign. It is also getting redesigned widgets. The lock screen is also getting handy decide control shortcuts, improve and faster search bar, Paint Chips widget, updated Google Calculator app, and more.

Android 12 is coming with a Material You design scheme, more fluid animations, Moore privacy features, and improved users experience.

There’s still enough time in the stable release. We can expect the stable Android 12 release in October. OEMs will take a few more months to release Android 12 on their devices. So, users will still have to wait for months to get Android 12 update on their devices.
