Google is finally rollout out the dark theme for Google search on desktop. The company initially started testing it back in December and then expanded the test to a larger group of users. Now the company is rolling it out to all users globally.

Interested users can enable the dark theme by following Settings > Search Settings > Appearance. Here select “Dark Theme” and save.

The dark theme enables dark gray background and white text. The theme applies to the Google homepage, search results page, and Search settings pages.

9to5Google notes that some users have also spotted a sun icon to toggle dark theme on or off without visiting the settings page. It is not clear if this toggle is the part of rollout or another test.
