The setup includes two devices. One is the microphone that is small in size. It includes an in-built omnidirectional condenser capsule. Another device is the receiver to add to the camera or smartphone. The receiver includes two antennas. The signals received by two antennas are compared and the device automatically selects strong signals to eliminate signal dropouts.

The microphone runs for over 4 hours on a single charge. It takes around 45 minutes to charge the microphone from zero to 100 percent.

FM40 is now available on PhotoMarket website along with all leading cameras and CE Stores in India. It will soon also be available on leading e-commerce websites.
