Apple introduces Apple Watch Series 7
After new iPad models, Apple introduced the latest Apple Watch Series 7 at Apple’s virtual Apple Event. This new Apple Watch comes with larger 41mm and 45mm cases and a more durable display.
This year’s Apple Watches come on 41mm and 45mm cases making these watches the largest Apple Watches to date. The always-on screen is now 70 percent brighter.
The primary reason why Apple Watches are popular is health and fitness features. The watch tracks several health and wellness metrics including blood oxygen saturation (SpO2), heart rate tracking, and ECG reports.
Apple Watch Series 7 runs WatchOS 8 out of the box. It comes with an improved Breathe app, enhanced sleep tracking, and unique watch faces.
The new Apple Watch Series 7 is IP6X rated to offer dust resistance. Apple claims that the display is now more crack-resistant.
Apple boasts that Apple Watch Series 7 will offer up to 18 hours of battery life and can be charged via USB-C.
Apple Watch Series 7 GPS only is priced at $399 and the Cellular version starts at $499. This smartwatch comes in several colors including Midnight, Starlight, Green, and a New Blue and (PRODUCT) RED.
