Along with Galaxy Z Flip3 5G, Samsung also unveiled Samsung Galaxy Z Fold3 5G. This is the successor to last year’s Galaxy Z Fold2.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold3 5G features a primary 7.6-inch QXGA+ Infinity Flex Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate. It has Samsung Ultra-Thin Glass that boasts to be 80% stronger than Z Fold 2’s display. It also has a 6.2-inch HD+ Dynamic AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The display also features Corning Gorilla Glass Victus.
The Z Fold3 also has S Pen support. The company unveiled two options: S Pen Fold Edition and S Pen Pro. Both Stylus are destined with retractable Pro tip and force limit technology to protect Z Fold3’s Main Screen.
It packs Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor with 12GB LPDDR5 RAM. The phone also has 256GB or 512GB storage.
The camera setup includes 12 megapixels primary camera with PDAF, OIS, 12 megapixels telephoto lens with OIS, 2X optical zoom, and 12 megapixels 120° Ultra Wide sensor. The phone also has 10 megapixels cover the front-facing camera and 4 megapixels Under the display camera.
This phone is also IPX8 water-resistant. There is a side-mounted Fingerprint Sensor. Connectivity options include 5G SA/NSA, Sub6 / mmWave, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 6E (2.4/5GHz), HE160, MIMO, 1024-QAM, Bluetooth 5.2 LE, Ultra Wide Band, GPS with GLONASS, USB Type-C (Gen 3.2), NFC, and MST. It packs a 4400mAh battery with 25W wired and 10W wireless (WPC and PMA) charging and 4.5W reverse wireless charging.
The base model of Samsung Galaxy Z Fold3 5G with 12GB RAM< and 256GB storage is priced at $1799.99 and the model with 12 GB RAM and 512GB storage costs $1899.99. The pre-orders start today from Samsung.com and it will ship from August 27th globally. The Z Fold S Pen costs $49.99 and S Pen Pro is priced at $99.99.
