Samsung has just announced its next-gen foldable flip phone Samsung Galaxy Z Flip3. This phone is IPX8 rated to offer water resistance.
Samsung Galaxy Z Flip3 5G features a 6.7-inch FULL HD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X Infinity Flex display with 120Hz adaptive refresh rate. It also has Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection and proprietary bendable Ultra-Thin Glass. There is also an external 1.9-inch Super AMOLED display that can v notifications and messages without having to open the phone.
The phone has an Armour Aluminium frame that Samsung claims to be the strongest aluminium frame yet. This is also the first foldable phone with a water resistance rating,
Samsung Galaxy Z Flip3 5G packs Snapdragon 888 Octa-Core Mobile Platform WITH 8GB OF RAM. You get 128GB and 256GB storage options. The phone runs Android 11 with One UI 3.1.
It has a dual-camera setup on the back that includes 12 megapixels primary camera and 12 megapixels ultra-wide camera with HDR10+ and OIS. The phone also has 10 megapixels selfie camera.
Connectivity options include 5G SA/NSA sub6 / mmWave, 4G, Wi-Fi 802.11 ax (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5.1 LE , ANT+, USB Type-C, NFC, and GPS. The phone supports USB Type-C Audio and features stereo speakers. It also has Dolby Atmos for a good audio experience.
It packs a 3300mAh battery with support to 15w fast charging and 10W Qi wireless charging. It also supports 4.5W reverse wireless charging. So, you can charge other devices wirelessly that support wireless charging.
Samsung Galaxy Z Flip3 5G is priced at $999.99 for the base model with 128GB storage. The model with 256GB storage costs $1099.99. It will be up for order globally starting from August 27th. So, we should know the India pricing soon.
