Along with Galaxy Z Fold3 5G and Galaxy Z Flip3 5G, Samsung has also unveiled the Galaxy Watch4 series. The series includes two smartwatches Samsung Galaxy Watch4 and Watch4 Classic. These are also the first smartwatches that run Wear OS built jointly by Samsung and Google.
Both the watches are offered with 1.4-inch and 1.2-inch Super AMOLED Always-On display. The display also has Gorilla Glass with DX+ protection. These watches are powered by a Dual-Core Exynos W920 processor with 1.5GB RAM and 16GB internal storage. Watch 4 has Aluminum case and Galaxy Watch 4 Classic features stainless steel casing. Both the watch are 5ATM + IP68 rating and MIL-STD-810G for military-grade durability.
The watch runs One UI and features DND mode, blocked callers, and important alarms. It also supports several gestures including nod wrist to confirm the call, shake the wrist to dismiss it, or a knock-knock motion for a predefined feature.
It has Optical Heart Rate, Electrical Heart, and Bioelectrical Impedance Analysis. So, the watch can monitor their blood pressure, detect irregular heartbeat, measure blood oxygen level, and calculate body composition.
The bigger model packs a 361mAh battery and the smaller one has a 247mAh battery. It can offer up to 40 hours on a single charge, It takes less than two hours in charging from 0 to 100%.
Galaxy Watch4 and Galaxy Watch4 Classic are offered in Black and Silver colors. The 44mm Galaxy Watch4 also has exclusive Green color and a smaller 40mm of Galaxy Watch4 comes in Pink Gold. Galaxy Watch4 start at €269/£249 in the US and Galaxy Watch4 Classic start at €369/£359. All the versions will be available from August 27.
