At Galaxy Unpacked event, Samsung also introduced Galaxy Buds2. It is Samsung lightest TWS earphones to date. Samsung Galaxy Buds2 comes with a new design and active noise cancellation.
Samsung Galaxy Buds2 comes with a dynamic two-way speaker. It is split into a woofer and a tweeter. Samsung promises clear high notes and deep atmospheric lows. There are three microphones set up in each bud for active noise cancellation. It promises impressive call quality and good active noise cancellation.
Samsung claims that the Active Noise Cancellation can block up to 98% of noise. The earphone also comes with machine learning-based solutions and can adapt to external sounds like cars, wind, emergency vehicles.
Buds are IPX2 Splash resistant. There are also several sensors including Accelerometer, Gyro, Proximity, Hall, Touch, and Voice Pickup Unit.
Earbuds pack 61 mAh battery in each and offer 5 hours of music playback with ANC and 7.5 hours with ANC turned off. The charging case can further extend the battery life to a maximum of 29 hours with ANC turned off. It also supports fast charging and 5 minutes of charging and offers 1 hour of playback.
Samsung Galaxy Buds2 will be available in Europe on August 27 for €149. It will cost $150. You can also add Galaxy SmartTag for just $5 more.
