Xiaomi’s Redmi brand has finally launched its first laptops RedmiBook Pro and RedmiBook e-Learning Edition laptops in India. Both the laptops feature a polycarbonate body with a brushed metal look.
RedmiBook Pro comes with a 15.6-inch FHD screen. It packs a 15.6-inch FHD screen with Intel Iris X-E Graphics. The laptop offers 8GB of RAM and 512GB of NVMe SSD. Redmi has also added large cooling vents on the bottom for better heat dissipation.
RedmiBook e-Learning Edition is cheaper and packs an 11th Gen Intel Core i3-1115G4 processor. It has 8GB RAM and is offered in 256GB and 512GB PCIe NVMe SSD storage options.
Both the laptops feature a Full-size backlit keyboard with a scissor mechanism. There’s a 720p webcam. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.0, USB 2.0 x 1, USB 3.2 Gen1 x 2, HDMI x 1, Ethernet port, and SD card reader.
Both the laptops pack 46Wh battery and promise up to 10 hours of battery life. Redmi also boasts that laptops can be charged 50% in 33 minutes.
RedmiBook Pro 15 is priced at Rs. 49,999. RedmiBook e-Learning Edition costs Rs. 41,999 for the 256GB version and the 512GB version is priced at Rs. 44,999. Both the laptops will be available from Flipkart, mi.com, and Mi Home stores starting from August 6th.
