A few days back, it was reported that OnlyFans is planning to ban sexually explicit content. Now the company is taking a U-Turn and confirmed that it has suspended the October 1 policy change.

It means, the company will keep hosting Porn content, and creators who put porn content on the platform can keep doing this to earn money.

When the company decided to ban sexual content, OnlyFans founder Tim Stokely blamed banks. Banking institutions create trouble for the company because it deals with the porn content. Several banks close accounts of sex workers and accounts of businesses that support sex workers.

Now it is being reported that the company has resolved its conflict with banks. When the company announced the new policy, OnlyFans received backlash from both users and creators. This could be the reason why the company rushed to resolve the issues. There is no confirmation on what banks decide to keep supporting the company and its payments.

OnlyFans was founded back in 2016 but saw huge growth during a pandemic. Now the website has more than 130 million registered users and over 2 million creators.
