We already know about Netflix’s gaming ambition. The company also confirmed it in its Q2 2021 earnings. Now the company has started testing games in the Android app.

The company has released two mobile gams Stranger Things 1984 and Stranger Things 3 in Poland for Android users. Netflix subscribers in Poland can try these two games in their membership.

It is worth noting that these games have been available for years and were released through a licensing partnership in 2017 and 2019.

These games won’t be streamed on your phone. You will have to tap the Install Now button and it will redirect you to Google Play Store where you can download the game on your phone. These games cannot be searched directly from the Play Store.

After successful testing, Netflix could expand gaming to more regions and on iOS. This isn’t game streaming, so Netflix won’t face problems faced by cloud gaming services such as Stadia, Xbox Cloud gaming, and GeForce Now on iOS devices.
