Netflix India has introduced UPI Autopay payments for subscribers in India. So, people who don’t have credit cards can now enter UPI ID to pay for their subscriptions. Initially, the UPI Autopay feature will be available on Netflix.com and the Android app.

Netflix India Adds UPI AutoPay

If you already have a Netflix subscription and want to change your payment method, you can go to Billing Details to change to UPI AutoPay. Before introducing UPI Autopay, Netflix India only had credit cards and debit cards payment options. Some users could also subscribe to Netflix using telecom billing.

“Our goal is to give members more freedom and control over their Netflix experience — to watch their favourite stories whenever they want, all without ads,” Netflix India’s payments head Gunjan Pradhan said in a prepared statement. “We hope that adding UPI AutoPay to our existing payment options — credit and debit cards, as well as integrations with Airtel, Vi and Jio — will give our members even more flexibility.”

UPI Autopay is for recurring transactions. So, you will not have to worry about making payments manually every month.
