China’s internet and video game company NetEase has announced the beta launch of its upcoming 5v5 mobile FPS game called Project M. If you watch the trailer, you will surely relate this game to Riot Games’ VALORANT.

The game is extremely similar to VALORANT. Project M features 5v5 matches where agents with special abilities fight with guns. There are several visual similarities between the characters in Project M and VALORANT. This game is being called Project M. If you could remember, Valorant was initially named “Project A”.

Project M opened beta registration until August 6 and slots filled quickly.

Riot has already confirmed to bring the mobile version of Valorant. So, it will be interesting to see how Project M manages to take on Valorant Mobile. Project M is already available to select beta testers and we still have no idea when Valorant Mobile will come.
