Xiaomi has also launched the company’s latest dual-band router ‘Mi Router 4A Gigabit Edition’ in India. The router is priced at Rs. 2199. It is the successor to Mi Router 4C launched early last year.

This is a dual-band router supporting both the 2.4GHz band and 5GHz band. It promises 300Mbps speed at 2.4GHz and up to 867Mbps at 5Ghz. The device features four omnidirectional antennas to maximize transmission performance. The company has also added an integrated signal amplifier to ensure a good Wi-Fi signal over a wide coverage area.

Xiaomi has also taken care of cooling. The device features aluminum-magnesium alloy heat sinks= and high-conductivity thermal paste for improved thermal efficiency. There are also large vents on the bottom to effectively improve the cooling efficiency.

The router also comes with a smart correction algorithm for improving weak signals. It can support up to 128 connected devices.

Mi Router 4A can be paired with the Mi Wi-Fi app for real-time monitoring. The app is available for both Android and iOS.

Mi Router 4A Gigabit Edition is priced at Rs. 2199. It will be available starting 15th September 2021 from mi.com, Flipkart, Mi Home and other retail stores
