During Gamescom’s Opening Night Live event today, Developer 343 Industries confirmed that Halo Infinite will arrive on December 8th. This is the same date that was leaked a few hours before the event began.
Microsoft also showed off a new cinematic trailer you can see below.
This game was originally planned to release in November 2020 alongside the Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S but delayed to fall 2021 due to development challenges faced during the pandemic.
Developer 343 Industries also confirmed that the game won’t launch with campaign co-op and Forge. These are popular parts of the game, too the news will surely disappoint several fans. The company also confirmed that Halo Infinite campaign and multiplayer mode will be launched on Developer 8.
Microsoft has also announced a new Halo Infinite-themed Xbox Series X console and Xbox Elite controller with Halo Infinite styling.
