OnePlus has just launched its latest mid-range Nord smartphone OnePlus Nord 2 5G in India. This phone is the successor to OnePlus Nord launched last year.
OnePlus Nord 2 5G features a 6.43-inch Full HD+ Fluid AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate. OnePlus also boasts about AI-Super resolution and video enhancement. It packs a 3GHz Octa-Core MediaTek Dimensity 1200-AI processor with ARM G77 MC9 GPU.
The phone runs Android 11 with OxygenOS 11.3. This version of OxygenOS is actually based on ColorOS 11.3. OnePlus has also confirmed that the phone will get 2 Android updates and 3 years of security updates.
The phone comes in three RAM and Storage variants: 6+128GB, 8+128GB and 12+256GB. OnePlus has included LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 3.1 storage.
The camera setup includes a 50 megapixels primary camera with Sony IMX766 sensor and OIS. It also inches an 8 megapixels 119.7° ultra-wide camera with EIS and 2 megapixels mono camera. The phone can record up to 4K video at 30fps, 1080p slow motion at 120fps, and 720p at 240 fps. There is a 32-megapixel selfie camera with a Sony IMX615 sensor. The camera app also has several features including Nightscape Ultra, AI Photo Enhancement, AI Video Enhancement, UltraShot HDR, Portrait Mode, Dual Video, and a Pro Mode.
OnePlus Nord 2 comes with an under-display fingerprint sensor. It supports 5G SA, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6 802.11 ax, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, Beidou, NavIC, NFC, and USB Type-C connectivity. The phone also packs a 4500mAh battery with Warp Charge 65 Fast Charging.

OnePlus Nord 2 5G will go on an early access sale in India through Amazon and OnePlus.in starting July 26. It will be limited for Amazon Prime members via Amazon and OnePlus Red Cable Club members through OnePlus.in. Open sale will start from July 28 through Amazon, OnePlus.in, OnePlus Experience Stores, and retail partners including Vijay Sales.
