Apple has also announced several privacy-centric features to iCloud. It has also rebranded iCloud subscription to iCloud+.

The iCloud+ brings Private Relay, a VPN-like service that lets users browse Safari in a secure and private way. It ensures that the web traffic from your browser to the website is encrypted and cannot be intercepted or read. No one can see what websites you visited.

The subscription also includes the Hide My Email feature. It lets users create a new email address that they can use to signup for services where you do not want to give your regular email. You can create as many new email addresses as you need. Emails received in these email addresses will be forward to the original inbox. You can manage this email forwarding within Apple Mail and Safari settings.

Apple has also included support for HomeKit Secure Video. This feature lets you collect footage from home security cameras. The storage consumed by these videos will not be counted in iCloud+ storage limits.

The iCloud+ subscription pricing will remain unchanged. That means all these features will be coming to the existing iCloud subscription at no additional cost.
