You can join Spotify Greenroom using your existing Spotify account. Good thing is that you are not restricted to use Spotify login. Once logged in, it asks you to select interests from a wider range of topics. Then, you can search audio programs to listen to.

Spotify will also record live audio sessions for itself. The company confirms that the recording is for moderation purposes. If a user reports something in a session, this recording will be used to verify the claims and take further actions.

Spotify Greenroom is built on Locker Room, the app Spotify acquired back in March. The company has also confirmed that existing Locker Room users will also get the Greenroom experience after updating the app starting today.

Spotify has also announced the creator fund. This fund will be used to pay creators based on how popular their rooms are and their engagement. The company could also announce exclusive deals with creators in the coming days.
