Samsung shifts display manufacturing unit from China to Noida

Samsung has completed the construction of its display manufacturing unit in Noida. This unit has been shifted from China to Noida, India. The construction of this display manufacturing unit began back in April this year.

A delegation of electronics major Samsung led by the company’s Southwest Asia President & CEO Ken Kang called upon Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Sunday and reiterated the company’s commitment towards India and to make Uttar Pradesh a manufacturing hub.

The delegation said that UP’s better industrial environment and investor-friendly policies have encouraged the company to establish the Display Manufacturing Unit here.

CM Adityanath also assured the delegation that the state government will continue to extend help to Samsung in the future as well. He said that Samsung’s Noida factory is a classic example of how. ‘Make in India’ is writing success stories. This manufacturing unit will create more jobs for the state’s youth.

Samsung already has its world’s biggest smartphone manufacturing plant in Noida. This plant not just manufacture products for India but also exports products to other countries.
