Motorola Defy 2021 with 6.5-inch display, military-grade durability announced
Earlier this year, Microsoft partnered with Bullitt Group, a UK-based rugged phone maker. Now Motorola has unveiled a rugged phone Motorola Defy 2021 under this partnership. Motorola Defy (2021) has specifications similar to Moto G9 Play and comes with a rugged body.
Motorola Defy 2021 features a 6.5-inch HD+ display with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection. The display has a waterdrop notch for the selfie camera. You can also use the touchscreen with set fingers.
The phone has a ruggedized plastic body and is IP68-certified for water and dust protection. It is also The phone is MIL-STD-810H certified. This phone can operate in temperatures ranging from -25°C to +55°C. Motorola Defy 2021 can also survive the drop from up to 1.8m heights if it lands on the side or corner frame.
Motorola Defy 2021 packs Snapdragon 662 with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. Storage is also expandable. It runs on Android 11 with Moto’s UX interface on top.
It has a dual camera setup that includes 48 megapixels primary camera, 2 megapixels macro camera and 2 megapixels depth camera. For selfies, it has 8 megapixels front camera.
Connectivity options include Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS + GLONASS, NFC, and USB Type-C. It packs 5000mAh with support to 20W Turbopower Charging.
Motorola Defy 2021 is priced at €325/$390 and will be available next week across European and South American markets.
