Infinix today announced its first concept smartphone dubbed ‘Infinix Concept Phone 2021.’ This smartphone features 160W fast charging technology that costs to fully charge the 4,000 mAh battery in just 10 minutes. There are also several notable features.
The phone packs 160W Ultra Fast Charging. This system is built around an 8C battery that has 18% lower internal resistance as compared to a 6C battery. Infinix has also developed a Super Charge Pump with 98.6% efficiency.
Infinix has also added 20 temperature sensors dotted around the device to ensure that the phone remains under 40ºC. If temperature goes over, the phone enables security protection to avoid any damage.
The 160W charger is built using Gallium Nitrate (GaN) and Silicon Carbide (SiC) semiconductors. So, it is compact but efficient. It can also be used to charge laptops.
Infinix Concept Phone 2021 also supports fast wireless charging at up to 50W.
The phone also has dual color-changing back cover. The back is made of electrochromic and electroluminescent technology. It uses light as the medium and electric field as the process. When there is an incoming call, the smartphone back changes between silver gray and light blue. When the phone is plugged in for charging, it flashes in the middle of the device.
The Infinix Concept Phone 2021 features a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with 3D glass. It also has an AI-powered triple lens module comprising a 64MP main lens, 120° ultra-wide-angle lens, and a telephoto lens. There is also a 32MP front-facing camera.
It packs an octa-core processor, ARM Mali-G76 MP4 GPU, 8GB RAM and 128GB storage.
