Beats has announced the launch of a pair of truly wireless in-ear noise-canceling earbuds dubbed as Beats Studio Buds. Beats Studio Buds are priced at $150.

The most notable thing about Beats Studio Buds is that it can also be used with Android devices. That’s the reason several reporters also called it AirPods for Android. Beats Studio Buds are also cheaper than Apple’s own AirPods lineup.

Studio Buds

Beats Studio Buds are compatible with both Android and iOS. Android users need to use the Beats app for any audio customization or firmware upgrades. In iOS, it will be done natively through OS. Studio Buds also lacks custom Apple silicon (W1 or H1). Both Android and iOS users will enjoy the one-touch pairing.

These buds feature active noise-cancelation and a transparency mode. The ANC cancels background noise while the transparency mode lets you hear your surroundings.

Beats Studio Buds also support smartphone voice assistants. The iOS users can use Siri voice commands without any setup but Android users need to install the Beats app for accessing Google Assistant.

This new pair of buds also IPX4 rated for sweat and water resistance. Beats promises 8 hours of battery life when listening to music with ANC and 5 hours if transparency mode is enabled. The charging case can offer two full charge cycles extending the battery life to a total of 24 hours. The charging case features a USB-C port. It also supports fast charging. So, a 5-minute charge is claimed to offer up to an hour of use.

Beats Studio Buds are priced at $150. And comes in Red, Black and white colors.
