On June 17, Krafton Inc released the Early Access version Battlegrounds Mobile India for testers who opted to join the beta testing program. So, the release was only for a limited number of people. Later the company opened its beta testing program for everyone. So more people could join and download the early access version of the game.

Now, the in-game event message confirms that the game has already received more than 5 million downloads in less than 72 hours of beta release.

“Thank you India! Celebrating 5M Downloads, we send our thanks with this extra gift! Please enjoy!,” the notification reads.

Before the game was made available Krafton announced special launch event missions to offer in-game rewards. Here’s the list of awards.

  • Sign-up rewards – 1 Supply Crate Coupon
  • 1 Million downloads- 2 Supply Crate Coupon
  • 5 Million downloads- 1 Classic Crate Coupon
  • 10 Million downloads- Constable set

Now when 1 Classic Crate Coupon has been awarded, it confirms 5 million downloads. I guess that game should achieve the 10 million downloads mark by next week.

PUBG Mobile was really popular in the country. After the game was banned, most gamers have been desperately waiting for the game. Battlegrounds Mobile India is actually the same game with a few tweaks. So all PUBG Mobile gamers are joining again. Krafton has also given an option to import your PUBG Mobile data to your BGMI account.
