Amazon India has launched new Echo Show 5 and the Echo Show 10 devices in India. These are Alexa powered smart devices with built-in display and camera.
Amazon Echo Show 10 features a 10.1-inch HD display. You can watch news briefs and TV shows from Prime Video and Netflix on this display. It also has 10W dual front-firing speakers and a powerful woofer for offering premium and directional sound.
This Amazon device also comes with Alexa. So, you can ask Alexa to search for information, ask for playing your favorite shows, ask for information, and more. You can also set up to use this device as a hub to control other smart home appliances
There’s a 13-megapixel wide-angle camera. You can can and zooms to keep you at the center of the frame. You can also access Alexa Group Calling feature. The Alexa app also lets you use the device as a Home security camera. You can remotely pan the display and camera to see the entire room.
The new Echo Show 5 comes with a 5.5-inch display to show different information. It has an upgraded HD camera for video calls. It also has Drop-In conversation feature that lets you open an instant conversation between your Echo devices or with your Alexa contacts.
You can also use Alexa app to access the camera and use it as a home camera device.
Amazon claims that the devices are designed with multiple layers of privacy protection. So, you can view and delete your voice recordings. Both the devices also feature built-in shutters to cover the camera.
Echo Show 10 is priced at Rs. 24,999 and Echo Show 5 costs Rs. 8999. For now, Echo Show 5 will be sold at a discounted price of Rs. 6,999 for all customers.
Both the devices are now up for order on Amazon.in and shipping starts from July 4.
