Samsung has updated its Blockchain Wallet app and added support for third-party hardware wallets. So, users can now manage and trade cryptocurrencies from third-party hardware wallets on compatible Galaxy smartphones.

First, you need to move the tokens from the hardware wallet to the Blockchain wallet app. Then you can make further transactions. The Ledger Nano S and the Ledger Nano X are some popular hardware wallets people use to keep their cryptocurrencies.

Samsung has also added a dedicated newsfeed to provide latest news from the world of cryptocurrency. News will be sourced from popular cyprocurrency news publications.

Samsung added a cryptocurrency wallet for its smartphones with the launch of the Samsung Galaxy S10 back in 2019. Blockchain Wallet already supports Bitcoin, Ethereum, and other cryptocurrencies. All the blockchain transactions are protected using Samsung’s defense-grade Samsung Knox security platform.

Samsung also allows developers access to its blockchain ecosystem with the Samsung Blockchain SDK. So, developers can build DApps that generate, store, and manage blockchain accounts easily.
