Twitter has finally brought Spaces to browsers. So, users can join Spaces from desktop and mobile web browsers. Earlier, it was only available on the Android and iOS apps.

When you click to join a Space, it will first show you the preview of the Space. So, you know who will be speaker and who others are attending. If you hour the Space, the Space window will reduce into the right-hand side of the Twitter.

You can only join Spaces using desktop or mobile browsers. You can not host it yet. You still need to use a mobile app for hosting the Spaces.

This update shows Twitter is serious about Spaces. With ‘Ticketed Spaces,’ it aims to add a good revenue source. Features like scheduling and reminders for Spaces will surely make Spaces interesting.

Twitter’s Spaces feature is now available to everyone while Clubhouse is still using invite-only mobile. If people become comfortable on Spaces, they won’t be switching to a new app. Clubhouse can still co-exist if it keeps innovating.
