DxOMark, known for its camera testing, is slowly expanding its portfolio. The company recently expanded to displays and audios for smartphones. Now the company is adding a battery experience tests to help consumers learn how much the battery of a smartphone will last.

The company claims that its battery experience test covers 100 parameters and takes into account 70 measurements. So, the overall test process takes up to 150 hours. The DxOMark battery score aims to reflect real-life usage. The test mainly measures battery life, charging, and efficiency to generate the score.

DxOMark has a dedicated team of engineers and experts who will be testing the batter performance of the latest smartphones.

The company not just tests the battery of different phones but also ranks smartphones to highlight what phone will offer a better battery experience to users. Currently, Samsung Galaxy M51 tops the DxOMark smartphone battery rankings with a score of 88 points. The phone packs a 7000mAh large battery and supports a 25W Fast Charge. It was expected to offer a good battery experience.

The company has added battery tests of 17 smartphones. Galaxy M51 tops the list followed by Wiko Power U30, Oppo Find X3 Neo, iPhone 12 Pro Max, and Vivo Y20S.

Battery score will surely help consumers in buying decisions because the charging and autonomy subscores will give you a clear idea of a smartphone battery.
