Recently, ASUS announced that it will launch the ZenFone 8 series smartphone on May 12th in a global event. But now, the Specifications and press images of the ZenFone 8 and Asus Zenfone 8 Flip have leaked. 91Mobiles and tipster Ishan Agarwal mentioned that the ZenFone 8 is a smaller phone with a 5.92-inch punch-hole screen and the ZenFone 8 Flip comes with a 6.67-inch FHD+ 90Hz AMOLED display with motorized flip cameras, same as the ZenFone 7. Both smartphones are expected to launch on May 12.
Asus Zenfone 8 Flip:
The Zenfone 8 Flip will come with a flip-up 180 degrees camera design similar to the Zenfone 6, 7, and 7 Pro that helps you use the rear cameras for selfies and video calls. It will have three cameras – 64MP primary, 8MP telephoto, and 12MP macro. The smartphone will support 8K video recording.
The Zenfone 8 Flip will feature a 6.67″ FullHD+ 90Hz AMOLED screen with no notch or punch hole. The smartphone will be powered by the Snapdragon 888 SoC and have 8GB RAM. It will have 256GB storage onboard. It will ship with a 5,000 mAh battery that will charge at up to 30W.
It will have a fingerprint sensor underneath for biometric authentication. It will come in two color options and a Blue colored power button. It will weigh 230 grams.
Asus Zenfone 8:
The Zenfone 8 will sport a 5.92″ FullHD+ screen. It will have a punch hole in the top-left corner of the display for the selfie camera. The Zenfone 8 will feature a regular rectangular camera 64MP main and 12MP macro with a LED flash. The smartphone will also record 8K videos.
The Zenfone 8 will have a Snapdragon 888 processor paired with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. The smartphone may come with 6GB, 12GB, and 16GB RAM, and 256GB storage as well. It will have a 4,000 mAh battery charged through a USB-C port at up to 30W.
The Zenfone 8 will also come with a 3.5mm headphone jack at the top of the smartphone. The smartphone will measure 148×68.5x9mm and weigh 170 grams. it will come in two color options.
