Vivo has just launched its latest mid-range 5G smartphone Vivo V21 5G in India. The phone starts at Rs. 29990 and aims at creators who mostly use selfie camera for creating video content.

Vivo V21 5G features a 6.44-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate, HDR 10+, and up to 800 nits brightness. The phone runs on Funtouch OS 11.1 based on Android 11 out of the box. It packs Octa Core Dimensity 800U processor and Mali-G57 MC3 GPU. The phone will be sold in two variants 8+128GB and 8+256GB. It also features extended RAM technology that can use storage as RAM to boost Ram by up to 3GB. Storage is also expandable.
The phone features a 64 megapixels primary camera with OIS, 8 megapixels ultra-wide-angle camera, and 2 megapixels macro camera. There is a 44 megapixels autofocus selfie camera with OIS and 4K video recording. The front camera also features Night Portrait and Super Night Selfie. There is also a dual Selfie Spotlight for bright selfies and videos in low light.
The fingerprint sensor is located under the display and the phone supports USB Type-C audio. Connectivity options include 5G SA/ NSA, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5.1, GPS/GLONASS/Beidou, and USB Type-C. It packs a 4000mAh battery with 33W fast charging. Vivo claims that the phone can be charged up to 63% in 30 minutes.

The base variant with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage is priced at Rs. 29990 and the variant with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage costs Rs. 32,990. It will be available from Flipkart along with Vivo India eStore online and offline stores. Pre-orders start on May 6 and sales will begin on April 29.
