A few days back, Xiaomi sub-brand Redmi teased a gaming smartphone. Today the company confirmed the launch of its first gaming phone. The phone will be launched in partnership with Call Of Duty Mobile. It will be launched by the end of this month but we still don’t know the confirmed launch date.
Redmi has officially posted teaser photos on official Weibo account.
We also don’t know the specs but a reliable tipster claimed that the phone will come with Dimensity 1200 SoC. Dimensity 1200 is a 6nm Soc designed for good gaming. This game phone is expected to feature an OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Shoulder triggers for additional gaming controls are also expected.
A Redmi phone with model number M2104K10C was also spotted on many certification sites confirming Dimensity 1200. We are expecting similar leaks to know more specs before the official launch.
Xiaomi already offers gaming phones under the Black Shark sub-brand. Now Redmi is also jumping into the gaming segment. We are expecting a cost-effective gaming phone from Redmi.
