Capcom has announced Resident Evil 4’s VR remake for Oculus Quest 2 headset. Capcom, Oculus, and Armature have partnered for this game. We still don’t have many details but the company has released early footage to demonstrate how this game will be.

This will not be the first VR game of the Resident Evil series. Resident Evil 7 could be played with a PlayStation VR headset. This was a scarier experience but playing the game was a bit more difficult. This time, it will be the first game that has been specifically designed for VR.

Oculus and Facebook Reality Labs will offer more details about this VR game on April 21st at Oculus Gaming Showcase. The event will be streamed live on Twitch, Facebook, and YouTube. Cloudhead Games, Ready At Dawn and ILMxLAB are confirmed to be showcasing updates for their game.

Oculus Quest 2 was released back in September 2020 and it an all-in-one VR headset. That means, it doesn’t require a separate PC or mobile device.
