Xiaomi just announced its new flagship smartphones Mi 11 Pro and Mi 11 Ultra at an event in China.
Both Mi 11 Pro and Mi 11 Ultra feature 6.81-inch E4 AMOLED quad curved DotDisplay. The display has a 120Hz refresh rate. Both the phones boast HDR10+ and Dolby Vision. The display is also protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection. Mi 11 Ultra also has a secondary 1.1-inch AMOLED always-on display on the back. This secondary display can be used for checking notifications and selfie preview if used the rear camera for the selfie.
Both the phones pack powerful octa-core Snapdragon 888 5nm processor with Adreno. Mi 11 Pro comes in 8+128variants, 8+256GB and 12+256GB variants. Mo 11 Ultra is offered in 8+256GB, 12+256GB and 12+512GB variants. These phones run on MIUI 12.5 based on Android 11.
Mi 11 Pro comes with a triple camera that includes 50 megapixels primary camera with OIS, 13 megapixels 123° ultra-wide-angle camera, and an 8 megapixels telephoto camera with OIS and 5x optical zoom. This setup can record 8k at 30fps, 4k 60fps, 960fps at 720p, and 1920 fps ultra slow-motion videos.
Mi 11 Ultra has a slightly better camera setup. It comes with 50 megapixels primary camera with OIS, 48 megapixels 128° ultra-wide-angle camera, and 48 megapixels telephoto camera with OIS and 5x optical zoom. The phone also includes a flicker sensor. This setup can also record 8k at 30fps, 4k 60fps, and 960fps at 720p.
For selfies, there is a 20 megapixels front camera in both the phones.
Mi 11 Ultra has a ceramic back while the Mi 11 Pro comes with a glass back. Both the phones are IP68 water and dust resistant. The fingerprint sensor is located under the display. It can also monitor heart rate. These phones also have an Infrared sensor and support USB Type-C audio. Both the phones pack stereo speakers tuned by Harman Kardon. There is also Hi-Res Audio certification.
Both the phones include 5G SA/NSA Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6E 802.11 ax 8 x / MU-MIMO, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS (L1 + L5), NFC, and USB Type-C. There is a 5000 mAh battery with 67W wired QC4+ / QC3+ / PD3.0 fast charging, 67W wireless fast charging and 10w wireless reverse charging.
Xiaomi will also sell these phones without the charger. If you need, you can get the charger without any additional cost.
