Vivo just announced the company’s latest smartphone in the S series Vivo S9 in China. The phone packs a 90Hz display, Dimensity 1100 Soc, and dual selfie cameras.

Vivo S9 features a 6.44-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate and 20:9 aspect ratio. Vivo claims that the display has a max brightness of 1300 nits. The phone packs an Octa-Core Dimensity 1100 6nm processor with Mali-G77 MC9 GPU. It comes in two models: 8GB+128GB and 12GB+256GB.

The phone has a triple camera that includes 64 megapixels primary camera, 8 megapixels 119° ultra-wide camera, and 2 megapixels macro camera. There is also a dual selfie camera with 44 megapixels primary and 8 megapixels 105° ultra-wide camera. Both rear and front camera setups can record 4K videos.

It has an under-display fingerprint sensor, USB Type-C audio, and a Superlinear speaker. Connectivity options include Dual 5G SA/NSA, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6 802.11 ax (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5.1, GPS + GLONASS, NFC, and USB Type-C. It packs a 4000mAh battery with 33W fast charging.

Vivo S9 measures 158.39×73.87×7.35mm and weighs 173g. It comes in Midnight Blue, Gradient Blue and White colours.

The base model of the Vivo S9 is priced at 2999 yuan and the 12+256GB model costs 3299 yuan. It will be available to order starting today and sales start on March 12th.
