The French Developer Ubisoft has announced that gamers will be able to play Watch Dogs: Legion free over the weekend starting from March 25 to March 29. Free to play option will be available on all platforms, including PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5.

It is also worth noting that game is available on PlayStation 5 through backwards compatibility. So, PlayStation 5 gamers will actually be playing the PS4 version.

In this free play, there will also be some restriction. One will only be able to discover the storyline up to the Skye Larsen mission. Players will also be able to explore half of the eight boroughs, including the City of London and Islington & Hackney.

If you decide to purchase the game after the free trial ends, your game progression will be kept.

Watch Dogs: Legion is also getting discounts across several platforms. Here is the list of discount one can avail.

  • Xbox: 50% off of the Standard and Ultimate edition (From March 23 to April 15)
  • PlayStation: 50% off of the Standard and Ultimate editions and 25% off of the season pass (From March 24 to March 31)
  • Ubisoft Store on Windows PC: 50% off of the Standard, Gold & Ultimate editions, and 25% off of the season pass (From March 18 to April 9)
  • Epic Games Store on Windows PC: 50% off of the Standard, Gold & Ultimate editions, and 25% off of the season pass (March 25 to April 8)
