Spotify Is Getting Support for 36 New Languages

Leading music streaming service Spotify is adding support for 36 new languages. So far, the app is available in 26 languages. After this update, Spotify will be available in a total of 62 languages. So, the app is now accessible in more local languages.

Newly added languages are Afrikaans, Amharic, Azerbaijani, Bengali, Bhojpuri, Bulgarian, Simplified Chinese, Croatian, Danish, Estonian, Filipino, Gujarati, Hindi, Icelandic, Kannada, Latvian, Lithuanian, Malayalam, Marathi, Nepali, Norwegian, Odia, Persian, Portuguese for Portugal, Eastern Punjabi, Western Punjabi, Romanian, Serbian, Slovak, Slovenian, Swahili, Tamil, Telugu, Ukrainian, Urdu, and Zulu.

“During last month’s Stream On event, Spotify shared some big news: our plan to expand to 80+ new markets. But that’s not all. We also announced that the service would soon become available in 36 new languages, bringing the platform total to 62 languages.” Spotify announced today.

The new languages are rolling out today gradually for both Android and iOS. Make sure you are running the latest version of the app to get these languages.
